In partnership with the Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum (DRCF), techUK will offer industry, parliamentarians, and other stakeholders in tech policy the opportunity to engage on some of the most pressing challenges facing the UK's regulators (ICO, CMA, Ofcom, FCA), at a time where the pace of innovation is unprecedented and raising questions around trust and responsible deployment of new technologies, such as AI, quantum and digital identity, all while regulators are keen to facilitate economic growth.
The event will also showcase the DRCF's ‘AI and Digital Hub’ which will support AI and digital innovators with queries that span regulatory remits.
Sessions include:
Keynote speech - Nikhil Rathi, CEO of the Financial Conduct Authority, and Chair of the DRCF
Fireside chat - Enabling innovation and economic growth: what role do the UK’s regulators play?
Panel - Bridging the gap between regulation and responsible adoption: what is next for AI in the UK?
Panel - Looking to the digital horizon: how can the UK keep pace with technologies of the future?
The half-day Conference will feature a line-up of senior speakers and offer participants plenty of opportunities to connect and network, while discussing some of the key challenges underpinning digital regulation. View the agenda tab above.
